Infertility affects an estimated 15% of couples. Males are found to be solely responsible for 20% of infertility cases and contribute to 50% of cases overall. A semen analysis can come back abnormal if the semen volume, sperm count, sperm morphology or motility do not meet medical standards. In this Urology Cheat Sheet, we review some abnormalities that we can find in semen analysis and possible differential diagnosis.
